CJ Olive Young is accelerating its global K-beauty strategy by launching its first overseas beauty festival in Japan, marking the beginning of its worldwide “Olive Young Festa” tour.
From May 8 to 10, Olive Young will host “Olive Young Festa Japan 2026” at Makuhari Messe in collaboration with KCON JAPAN 2026. The event serves as the first stop of Olive Young’s global world tour project aimed at expanding K-beauty fandom worldwide.
Originally launched in 2019, “Olive Young Festa” became Korea’s first large-scale beauty festival, growing each year into a major platform connecting beauty brands with consumers through immersive experiences and trend-driven content.
Olive Young Expands Beyond Korea
As Olive Young continues to expand its global business — including the growth of its international online mall, offline expansion into the United States, and partnerships with global beauty retailers like Sephora — the company is now bringing its signature festival overseas for the first time.
At the Japan event, approximately 55 K-beauty brands will participate inside a massive 164-pyeong exhibition space, showcasing trending Korean beauty products and interactive content experiences.
The venue itself has been designed to recreate the atmosphere of a real Olive Young store, while surrounding walkways are styled after famous Korean shopping districts such as Myeong-dong and Hongdae, giving visitors an immersive “travel through Korea” experience.
K-Beauty Rankings, Exclusive Deals, and Interactive Experiences
One of the key attractions is the “Korea Cosme Ranking Zone,” where visitors can explore 36 bestselling K-beauty products selected using Olive Young’s actual purchasing data.
The “K-Beauty Select Zone” introduces personalized skincare, makeup, and inner beauty routines tailored to different beauty needs and lifestyles.
Meanwhile, the “Oriyang Limited Zone” offers specially curated K-beauty sets at discounted prices, allowing visitors to discover trending Korean products at exclusive promotional rates.
Visitors can test products on-site and purchase them directly through Olive Young’s global online mall using special discount coupons provided during the event. Additional hidden coupons for Olive Young’s upcoming sales campaign will also be distributed to attendees.

From Japan to Los Angeles
