Jimin of BTS once again proved his unmatched global popularity after taking the No.1 spot in the April male idol rankings on the K-pop voting platform “Idoki.”
Jimin ranked first in the “April Male Idol Ranking” vote held throughout April on the K-pop idol voting app. After also topping the rankings in February and March, Jimin has now extended his incredible streak to a total of 22 months at No.1, showcasing the overwhelming strength and loyalty of his worldwide fandom.
As part of the rewards for winning the February ranking, Jimin’s celebratory advertisement was displayed on digital signage at Hongdae Entrance Station on Seoul’s Airport Railroad line in April. Meanwhile, the reward ad for his March victory is scheduled to be showcased on the digital canvas at Myeongdong Station starting May 9.
For the April ranking victory, another large-scale reward advertisement will be featured in June at the media chandelier inside Lotte World Mall, once again lighting up major locations across Seoul with fan-supported promotions dedicated to Jimin.
Jimin also demonstrated his dominance in solo popularity rankings. He secured first place in the “April Solo Chart” vote conducted through the “Podoal” app, marking his second consecutive month at No.1 following March. The reward advertisement for this achievement will reportedly be displayed on the giant electronic billboard at Gangnam City Building.
Continuing to dominate various global popularity polls, Jimin remains one of the most beloved K-pop stars worldwide. Currently, he is successfully carrying out the North American leg of BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ and is set to perform in Mexico City on May 8, 10, and 11, where massive crowds and explosive fan reactions are already expected.
