Global boy group AEN celebrated their first Chuseok since debut by dressing up in traditional Korean hanbok and sending a warm holiday message to their fans.
Rookie boy group AEN celebrated the Korean harvest festival Chuseok in style, sharing two different hanbok looks through their official channels during the holiday.
With soft pastel colors, traditional accessories and a modern twist on classic Korean clothing, the seven members showed off a completely different side of their usual stage image.
And for AEN, this Chuseok was especially meaningful.
It was their first Chuseok since making their official debut and their first holiday celebration with their newly established official fandom, Aneee.
AEN Turns Into Modern “Flower Scholars” in Hanbok
For their first hanbok concept, AEN went for a modern interpretation of the traditional yusaeng, or Confucian scholar, style.
The members wore dark navy-colored jeogori tops with wide, flowing sleeves and traditional gat hats.
The styling created a sophisticated and slightly nostalgic look reminiscent of young scholars from Korea’s Joseon era.
Books, flowers and traditional fans were also used as props, adding to the classic Korean atmosphere.
Their second hanbok concept offered a completely different mood.
The members appeared in soft pastel-colored hanbok, creating a brighter and more refreshing visual.
The delicate lines of the traditional clothing combined with the members’ cheerful smiles gave the photos a youthful and gentle feeling.
“Our First Chuseok With Aneee Feels Special”
AEN personally shared their Chuseok greetings with fans.
The members said that the holiday felt especially meaningful because it was their first Chuseok together with Aneee.
They also wished fans a relaxing holiday away from their everyday routines and encouraged them to spend warm and happy moments with their families.
The group added that they would continue working hard to repay the love they have received from fans.
They also ended their message with a classic Chuseok wish — hoping their fans would enjoy plenty of delicious food and smile as brightly as the full moon.
AEN Is Building a Global Fanbase
AEN consists of four Korean members and three Japanese members, giving the group a naturally international identity.
Even before their official debut, the group began building a presence in Japan and other global markets.
They were featured by major Japanese media outlets and appeared on popular Japanese music programs including NHK’s “Venue101” and TBS’s “PLAYLIST.”
On August 5, AEN officially debuted in Korea with their first mini album “A NEW ERA OF NOW” and the title track “X to Z (Next to me).”
Their activities in Japan have continued alongside their Korean promotions.
AEN Enters Japan’s Oricon Top 10
The group’s Japanese popularity has also been reflected in their chart performance.
Their first mini album “A NEW ERA OF NOW” reached No. 7 on the Japanese Oricon weekly ranking dated September 14, according to their agency.
AEN was also selected as the September Rookie for the Golden Disc Awards’ monthly “Golden Choice” selection.
For a newly debuted group, the results add another interesting chapter to AEN’s early global journey.
More Global Stages Are Coming
AEN’s international activities are continuing.
The group recently performed at SBS “Inkigayo Live in Tokyo,” meeting Japanese fans on stage.
They are also scheduled to participate in the 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA), which will be held on November 7 and 8 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
From Korea to Japan and beyond, AEN is steadily expanding its activities while developing its identity as a global boy group.
KOREA FBI Editor’s Comment
**AEN’s first Chuseok feels like a pretty special milestone.
For a rookie group, the first holiday with an official fandom is something fans will probably remember for a long time.
And honestly, the hanbok photos are a great way to introduce Korean culture to AEN’s international fans.
The modern scholar-inspired styling is especially cute. The traditional gat, books and elegant hanbok give the members a completely different charm from their usual K-pop stage looks.
But what I find most interesting about AEN is their Korea-Japan combination.
With four Korean members and three Japanese members, the group already has a natural connection between two major K-pop markets. Their Japanese TV appearances and Oricon Top 10 result also show how quickly their global journey is developing.
First Chuseok, first fandom, first big milestones — AEN is just getting started.
Happy Chuseok to AEN and Aneee!
