K-pop fans, get ready for one of the biggest music events of the year!
The 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) will officially begin domestic ticket sales today, with tickets going on sale exclusively through the global fandom platform NOL at 6 p.m. on October 2.
The third edition of KGMA will take place on November 7 and 8 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, bringing a total of 40 artists and teams to the stage over two days.
2026 KGMA Introduces a New “STAR ROAD”
Organized by Ilgan Sports, KGMA is a major Korean popular music awards ceremony now entering its third year.
This year, the event is introducing “KGMA STAR ROAD,” a new offline-only experience that reimagines the traditional red carpet.
Rather than simply watching artists arrive, fans will have a chance to experience a dedicated event built around the stars and the KGMA atmosphere.
Near Gocheok Sky Dome, visitors can also check out the K-Beauty Festa, a global cultural experience zone featuring Korean beauty products and interactive programs.
The festival will go beyond product displays, offering missions, sampling events and other activities where visitors can participate directly.
November 7: “Artist Day” Features 20 Acts
The first day, November 7, will be themed “Artist Day.”
The lineup includes:
NovelBright, CORTIS, DAYOUNG, LUCY, RESCENE, MADEIN, MEOVV, xikers, IDID, NDX, Young K, ALLDAY PROJECT, Jang Min-ho, CRAVITY, CLOSURE EYES, TUNEID, TREASURE, tripleS, P1Harmony and FIFTY FIFTY.
Actress Nam Ji-hyun and RESCENE’s Won-i will serve as MCs.
With artists from different generations and musical styles appearing on the same day, the first night is set to offer fans a wide variety of K-pop performances.
November 8: “Music Day” Brings Another 20 Acts
The second day, November 8, will be “Music Day,” featuring another 20 acts.
The lineup includes:
NEXZ, RIIZE, SHINee’s Minho, Park Ji-hyun, Billlie, MONSTA X’s Shownu × Hyungwon, AHOF, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, AEN, ATEEZ, WayV, Yuna, ITZY, Choi Ye-na, KISS OF LIFE, KiiiKiii, KickFlip, TOUCHÉD, TWS and Hearts2Hearts.
IVE’s Liz and actor Kim Jae-won will host the second day.
More Than an Awards Show
KGMA organizers say they are preparing an event that goes beyond the main awards-stage performances.
Along with performances from artists across different genres, fans attending the venue will be able to enjoy STAR ROAD and K-Beauty Festa, creating a broader K-culture experience around the awards ceremony.
For international K-pop fans visiting Seoul in November, the event could also offer a chance to experience the connection between K-pop, Korean beauty and fan culture in one location.
KOREA FBI Editor’s Comment
40 artists. Two days. One giant K-pop weekend in Seoul.
That already sounds like a serious schedule for K-pop fans!
I especially like the idea of KGMA expanding beyond the awards ceremony with STAR ROAD and K-Beauty Festa. For international fans, these kinds of offline experiences can make a trip to Korea feel even more special.
And with so many different artists appearing across the two days, fans can discover not only their favorite stars but also new groups they may not have followed before.
If you’re planning a Seoul trip around November 7–8, Gocheok Sky Dome is definitely going to be one of the places to watch.
