Food Week Korea 2026 is coming to Seoul from November 4 to 7, bringing together food companies, local farmers, and food tech innovators to showcase the future of Korean food.

Held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, the event will feature creative K-Food products, locally sourced ingredients, smart food manufacturing technologies, and exciting new products.

Organized by COEX and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the exhibition marks the 21st Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition. Under the theme “Innovation Becomes Everyday Life,” the event will take place across COEX Halls A, B, and C, as well as The Platz.

Korean Ramen Gets a Local Twist

One of the highlights is the Seasonal Pairing House, where major Korean food companies will introduce creative dishes made with ingredients from local farms.

Leading ramen brands, including Nongshim, Samyang Foods, and Paldo, will showcase new ways to combine familiar Korean instant noodles and pasta with regional agricultural products.

Ingredients such as shiitake mushrooms, white pine nuts, and watermelon radish will demonstrate how local produce can add new flavors and possibilities to popular food products.

For K-Food fans, this is a chance to see how Korea’s food industry is bringing together traditional agricultural ingredients and modern food trends.

Make Your Own Han River Ramen Experience

Ottogi is teaming up with food tech company Cookinpaper to operate a Han River ramen experience booth.

Inspired by the popular Korean tradition of cooking instant ramen at riverside convenience stores, the booth will let visitors prepare ramen using a dedicated cooking machine.

Visitors can also sample new products and vote for their favorite menu options.

The experience offers a fun way to explore Korean food culture while discovering how technology is changing the way people prepare and enjoy everyday meals.

Discover Local K-Food Brands at the Samsung Smart Factory Pavilion

Thirty food companies participating in Samsung Electronics’ smart factory support program will join the K-FOOD Pavilion with Samsung Smart Factory.

The participating companies will showcase a variety of Korean food products, including kimchi, cooking oil, salads, and cheonggukjang, a traditional fermented soybean dish.

The pavilion aims to connect food producers with consumers and business buyers, helping Korean food brands expand their distribution channels and reach new markets.

For international visitors interested in Korean food exports, the pavilion will offer a closer look at the businesses and manufacturing technologies behind the products.

Why Food Week Korea 2026 Matters

Food Week Korea is more than a food exhibition. It provides a meeting place for food manufacturers, local farmers, food tech companies, franchise businesses, and buyers looking for new opportunities.

By connecting local ingredients with established food brands and innovative manufacturing technologies, the event highlights how Korea’s food industry is evolving.

For global K-Food fans, it also offers a glimpse into what could appear on supermarket shelves and restaurant menus in the future.

🇰🇷 KOREA FBI Editor’s Comment

What I find interesting about Korea’s food industry is how it continues to make familiar foods more exciting without losing their original appeal.

Ramen is already one of Korea’s most recognizable food exports, but combining it with regional ingredients creates even more possibilities. I’m also excited to see how food tech makes Korean food easier and more convenient to enjoy.

If you love K-Food, keep an eye on these trends. The next Korean food craze might start with a simple local ingredient or a new twist on a familiar dish!
