I just had to talk about what happened on October 26th – BTS’s V stole the spotlight at the 2025 Vogue World : Hollywood event
There are two things that really caught my attention :
1 . V taking the center stage at Vogue
2. Maggie Kang, director of Netflix’s K-pop Demon Hunters’, referencing V in her animation
I wanted to share these moments because they beautifully highlight Korea’s fashion and our incredible idols.

BTS V at Vogue World Hollywood: A Star in the Center / V’s Modern Take on Hanbok
On October 27th in losAngeles, V apprared wearing a modern interpretation of traditional hanbok.
it wasn’t just a costume – it was art.
Outfit Highlights :
- A coat that mimics the curves of hanbok
- A red knot belt with jade detailing
- A hat reminiscent of a traditional gat
V was invited by Anna Wintour, who has led Vogue for 37 years, and sat center front row, side by side with Hollywood stars like Nicole Kidman.
The event was streamed live worldwide, and V’s outfit captured the attention f Vogue editions in the US, UK, and Italy.
V’s center-stage photos even made it to the Vogue homepage, along with a gallery of other celebrities’ looks.

From Real Life to Animation
Here’s a fun twist: Maggie Kang, director of the Netflix animation ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’, mentioned V in her posts, comparing him to a character in the series.
Fans like me loved seeing our K-Idol inspiring art in unexpected ways, reminding us that Korean stars are making waves far beyond music stages.
A Sad Contrast : Rosé and Elle UK
of course, not every story was uplifting.
Last month, Elle UK faced criticism for cropping out BLACKPNK’s Rosé in photos from the Saint Laurent Collection in Paris, While other stars like Hailey Bieber and Zoë Kravitz were fully shown.
- Other fashion outlets, like Vogue, shared photos including all stars
- Elle’s cropped post caused backlash and was eventually deleted with an apology
It’s a reminder that how media represents Asian artists still matters.
